Andrea’s artwork is inspired by her love of landscape, nature and travel - themes that reoccur throughout her work. She favours a vivid use of colour - oil, ink and mixed media are her preferred mediums. Gold and silver leaf also feature in many of her artworks adding opulence to her unique style of painting.
Andrea’s ethereal landscape paintings focus on the British rural and coastal landscape. In particular, the way that light across the land creates abstract patterns, reflections and movement causing changes to perceived colour vision. These paintings have a glowing, sometimes hazy effect with opulent colours and evocative forms that melt into one another, creating an ethereal atmosphere.
Andrea's still-life vessel paintings concentrate on semi-abstract, figurative, simple forms with uncrowded space and unfussy lines whilst her floral artworks burst with colourful life and vitality.
Andrea's expressive and geometric abstract paintings are an expression from within the mind - an alternative and sometimes passionate, obscure and twisted view with regards to everyday objects in the natural world around us.

Artist’s terms
All prices shown include insured delivery in the UK. Please contact Andrea via e-mail for worldwide delivery costs and delivery options. Artworks are usually dispatched within 3 working days of funds clearing and are insured during transit. Payment by Paypal preferred but cheques drawn from a UK bank account are also accepted. Cheques should be made payable to: Andrea Pannell.
Commissions undertaken. Please contact Andrea to discuss your commission requirements in detail. This can be done either in person (on-site where appropriate), by e-mail or telephone. A no obligation quotation and approximate completion date will then be provided. On acceptance of the quotation a non-returnable 50% deposit is required to start your commission with the balance paid upon completion. You will receive regular progress updates and photographs via e-mail of your painting in progress.
